Hey,
I am planning on a push adventure later this year and I have it in my head that I want to go alongside the Pacific Coast.
First of all I am from Edinburgh in Scotland and have never been to the states before, let alone the Pacific Coast. If anyone has any experience of this route/ bike paths etc that I could follow that'd be awesome.
Alternatively, if anyone knows or can think of any coastlines suitable for longboarding (anywhere in the world) that'd be awesome.
My main criteria for this trip is that it is dry, warm(ish), is alongside a coastline and can be done in about 2-3 weeks.
Cheers in advance,
Anne-Lise.

Hi Anne-lise! We will put a call out on the fb page. I have only skated one coastline and that was NZ back in 2008. Having the sea on one side and the mountains on the other is the best.

I have skated nearly the entire pacific coast from Vancouver. Still currently on-going.
The route from Big Sur to Santa Barbara is still closed due to landslide on mud creek. It will probably reopen next 2018.I am forced to take from san Francisco to Morro bay to continue skating.
Oregon coast from Astorgia to Big Sur California is still open and beautiful. Do take note of its hilly terrain. I can climb and descend close to 1000 m daily.

This is the official bike route of the Pacific Coast, and it includes both on-road and off-road sections. It passes through California, Oregon, and Washington, and offers a mix of urban and rural scenery.
