Holda DiPolda was a busy man during the cold season. I got these prototypes a couple of weeks ago and have ridden them on two rainy skate sessions and the idea is great. Still needs a few tweaks though. The nice thing is that they don't resonate, so skating doesn't get any louder. My DIY solution of just a plastic sheet with cable ties would resonate and make skating quite a bit louder. Maybe it's just me but that's one thing I really can't stand. Also they weigh next to nothing. They need more material in front, as currently it sprays out the front and then blows over the mudguard. The problem with more material up front is, that it is then not possible to lean the board against a wall. Also board side there is to much material so that during pumping the mud guard hits the road. I've cut off about a 3cm boardside and will attach some rubber to the front and see how that goes. The current prototypes are hand laminated carbon which is to labour intensive, so Holda DiPolda is experimenting with thermoforming PVC.
I'm really looking forward to riding them, specially after the above mentioned alterations.
Now we just need to find a nice solution for the Delirium and the TT.

We are finding out if these are going to be available to buy. Works with up to 85mm.
