Hi !
I live in France and I discovered Longboarding for 5 years ago. In the beginning no pumping boards were avalaible and I was forced to imagine some crazy setup to succeed in Pumping. I hated pushing because of feet pain but I was force to do that when I began to do Ultraskate. Low board for Pushing is very efficient but never in pumping. So I began to think about a low pumping board, lower than a Gbomb setup.
The basic idea is to make a board long distance that is versatile in terms of pushing, so with a low board, but also has pumping capabilities. I was looking for a stiff board, with some concave and drop through .
I found from second hand a Rayne Piranha deck, small and stiff. It will be perfect !
With some khiro angled pads for the front, I got a turny truck with a surfrdoz 159mm setup. But there was some contact between deck and Hanger. So I sanded it a little to limit contact and I changed the bushing with a harder one.
The most interessant is IMO the rear truck setup. I was looking for a stable rear behavior (Sorry I 'm mongo pusher) AND a safe rear truck for pumping. But with the short distance between deck and hanger, my only choice for a low board was to mount the rear truck inverted. I chose a Randal 35 degree with a Gunmetal 180mm hanger, on small cylinder spacers mount to aim the zero degree behavior. Keep in mind that with a RKP truck inverted mount, you don't have to be exactly at exactly zero degree. I've made it on some Topmount board without the perfect zero degree.
Since I've taken these pictures, I've changed the rear truck for a Dontrip 20 degree and the front truck for a 180mm instead of a 159mm. Why ? Because of a Captain Roads 80mm wheels mount a lower deck than before : Only 1.97in UNDER the deck (5cm !!!)
I've used it with great pleasure in Les 24h du Mans 2017 race. Very stable while the uphill and the downhill, fast in pumping, it's a nice experience for a strange machine. But I think this setup is better for pumping sprint and push than long pumping trail like ultraskate.
And now the pictures of the setup, the videos, and sorry, some pictures of me in action with the Zero degree Piranha in Le Mans !

Pictures in Action, very very Low board !
And the video from the Carros 2017 race with night sprint runs ( at 2.00) and the 20k race with the Piranha with Tristan Fort at the first place.

Have fun and Skate Further ! ;-)
